Experimental Music

from various countries,
and photographs from my travels
in Laos, from film to digital cameras. The instruments include:
1. Harmonium
2. Burmese harp (Songkoh)
3. Tuo Wang (an old Chinese instrument, rarely seen today)
4. Shinano SC-25 classical guitar
5. Yamaha FG-302B acoustic guitar

Listen to and get to
know the lapharp,
originating from Belarus,
former part of the Soviet Union.
Its name is Perepelochka
(pronounced Nepenenoyka).
This particular instrument
is manufactured in Korea,
the Sunflower model.
A demonstration and
acoustic string accompaniment
will be provided, following
the structure of a musical piece.

DULCIMER SEANGTIP(Divine voice)
This Khim (Thai DULCIMER)
was produced at Chang Lek's
workshop in 2006.
The strings have been replaced
and a live performance demonstration was given by Kru Ten.
The sound is recorded naturally, without any adjustments, and
includes bird sounds around
the house in the morning,
along with photographs taken
with both film and digital cameras,
capturing the morning atmosphere
of various locations in Thailand.
